Production techniques of Iron man
mise-en-scene
-costume (Tony stark wearing expensive clothing and having a slick back hair cut to make him look rich and narcasistic.)
-Location (At a party where there is paparazzi and a-lot of people (suggesting he is a famous guy who lives a lavish lifestyle)
-props (he is shown multiple times drinking liquor (which could mean he is an alcoholic or could further the fact that he is rich.)
-performance (Tony stark is shown to be a very cocky and egotistical guy as he is very humorous and is constantly talking In a condescending tone.)
Camera work
-handheld (to connote a sense of fear and to immerse the audience into the scene which is a war zone)
-panning (used in the action scenes to make the suit look big and to immerse the audience into it so they feel the weight of the suit aswell)
-establishing shots (showing the suit in the sky and the jets)
-close ups (many of the iron man suit and also of the terrorists to show the power of it and also the terrorists reaction towards it)
Editing techniques
-graphic match (a shot of Tony through a night vision camera that zooms out and transforms into a normal shot.)
-slow mo (used in many action shots and explosions plus used when Tony is making his first suit which makes them scenes look more important for the story.)
-shot reverse shots (used when the terrorists first see Tonys suit which makes the scene more tense.)

Sound effects
-diegetic sounds (there was no sound in the scene when Tony Stark gets attacked as it immerses the audience and enthasises Tonys loss of hearing due to the explosions.)
-non diegetic sounds (guitar in the background that shows Tony as a cool guy)
