Pamco data - infographic and then tabular
1a) Identify three differences in the way audiences use technology to read magazines brands and news brands
Observation 1:
Overall more people read more news brands than magazines and this could be because more of the younger generation read magazines, while news brands are generally read by many different generations. This means that their target audience would cover a larger amount of people so they would be able to market and sell to a lot more people. While a lot of magazines have to target different nieces and younger ages.
Observation 2:
More people who read news brand use print while people who read magazines use print less. This could be because more people who read newspapers are of an older generation and so are more likely to buy a printed copy rather than use technology for it. It could also be like this as more people buy news brands rather than magazines.
Observation 3:
For both the News brands and Magazines tablets are the least used platform people use to access the websites. This could be because tablets are not used by many people as they are not seen as a necessary device that you would need. Meaning less people in the uk own one and are less likely to use it. Also tablets nowadays are mainly used by tolders and children who use them for videos and games. So they would not be accessing these magazine websites unless they were specifically made for children.
